This recap and review contains spoilers for S9E11 Disrupted.
Frank’s attitude is trash most of the time. I love a good cop show, but he doesn’t know how to speak to people and he wonders why the public is always against him and his agenda.
An activist stages a confrontation with Frank while he was out having a meal, over an accusation that he hit a member of her community with his car. He spoke to the cafe owner like he owed Frank something when HE wanted to arrange a meeting in that man’s establishment to confront the activist.
Though the guy he supposedly hit was fine, and not really injured, he should have done some investigating before confronting her, just as she should have before approaching Frank.
A patient at Anthony’s wife’s doctor’s office threatens the patients, including Anthony’s wife. Anthony is always going from 0-100 when it involves him and his business. He is a detective so he should respect other detectives doing their job. He kept inserting himself into the investigation, but that is nothing new for this cast of characters.
A cab driver gets into it with one of his passengers and a gun drops from his pants when he steps out of his van. Jamie lets the guy off the hook when he finds out the man is a retired cop. Eddie questions him and she was wrong for questioning Jamie on multiple occasions. I mean if she thought his decision was wrong she should have voiced it and moved on. Not make him feel like she didn’t trust his decision making.
Though the retired cop was on edge and ended up shooting someone, Jaime wasn’t wrong. Like Eddie said, “you make a call one day and you could be right, tomorrow you can be wrong.”
Danny has definitely cooled down over the years. His son Sean was wrong for having a girl over without his, or her parents’, permission but he will get over someone unfollowing him. It’s interesting how his new neighbor wanted nothing to do with him or his kid but when the guy needed help he ran straight to Danny.
I would love to see more stories surrounding Danny. Since his wife died he had definitely changed, and rightly so. I would like to see him have more conversations with his father and grandfather about this.
